Monday, June 22, 5:30 pm — Housing & Evictions Mini-Action & City Council Meeting

With so much going on, remember there is an affordable housing emergency in our city. On Monday, June 22, we need you to virtually attend the City Council meeting. A group of designated RISC leaders will directly ask city leaders for these commitments:

  1. Pass the resolution introduced by Councilwoman Robertson saying that as soon as an additional $800,000 becomes available in 2021, such funds will be allocated to the Affordable Housing Trust Fund and the Eviction Diversion Program (to bring these allocations up to their original proposed amounts).
  2. Commit to attend our RISC Mini-Action Assembly on Monday, August 31st at 6:30 pm, to discuss the establishment of a dedicated stream of funding of $10 million yearly for our city’s Affordable Housing Trust Fund.

Email Emily Small [email protected] if you have questions.
